When the groom’s an illustrator and the bride’s a sporty cosplayer, you just know, it’s going to be fun-filled wedding. And Maya and Philip sure didn’t disappoint.
The two went for a beach wedding that was just so them. Funky, geeky and still downright romantic.
The bride ditched the high heels when she walked down the aisle. The groom too, passed up the dress shoes. Instead, they both donned the old-time reliable chucks. High-cut sneakers and the beach had never been such a lovey-dovey mix just as they made it.
From the preparation, to the ceremony, up until the reception, the energy of the two was just oozing. You can feel their playfulness in almost everything they do!
But behind the torquoise bright personalities, which also happened to be their motif, are sentimental spirits. They are the kind that are so attuned with each other – with passion and vigor – that they were able to stay strong together for 12 years. And if that’s not enough to convince you how much of a maudlin they actually are, here’s a snippet. 9 of that 12 years was a long distance relationship. Now, who says LDR doesn’t work? To these two, it sure did!
Enjoy this one of a kind and super fun wedding of Maya and Philip in Puka Beach, Boracay.
